Kolkata Welcomes Durga Puja With 10,000 Dhaks, 3,000 Drones

Kolkata's Eden Gardens vibrated with the sounds of 10,000 dhaks and 1,000 conch shells to mark the start of Durga Puja festivities on Mahalaya. A spectacular drone and laser show featuring 3,000 drones illuminated the sky, complementing fireworks. Over 40,000 people gathered at the stadium for a cultural program including traditional dances and songs. The event, inaugurated by the chief minister, also saw the felicitation of Sayam Bhadra, grandson of the legendary voice of Mahisasuramardini. The festivities aimed to welcome Goddess Durga to her earthly abode.

कोलकाता के ईडन गार्डन्स में महालया पर दुर्गा पूजा उत्सव की शुरुआत को चिह्नित करने के लिए 10,000 ढाक और 1,000 शंखों की आवाज़ गूंज उठी। 3,000 ड्रोन की विशेषता वाले एक शानदार ड्रोन और लेजर शो ने आतिशबाजी के साथ आसमान को रोशन किया। पारंपरिक नृत्य और गीतों सहित एक सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम के लिए स्टेडियम में 40,000 से अधिक लोग एकत्रित हुए। मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा उद्घाटन किए गए इस कार्यक्रम में महिषासुरमर्दिनी की पौराणिक आवाज़ के पोते, स्याम भद्रा को सम्मानित भी किया गया। उत्सव का उद्देश्य देवी दुर्गा का पृथ्वी पर उनके निवास पर स्वागत करना था।
