Srirangam Temple Begins Vaikunta Ekadasi Preparations With Panthakal Naduthal Ceremony

The Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowment department has initiated preliminary preparations for the annual Vaikunta Ekadasi festival at Srirangam Ranganathaswamy temple with the traditional Panthakal Naduthal ceremony. This ritual, conducted near the Thousand Pillar Hall, signifies the temple's readiness to host the 22-day festival, which includes ten days of daytime celebrations (Pagal Pathu) and ten days of nighttime celebrations (Raa Pathu). The prominent event, the opening of the Paramapathavasal gates, is scheduled for December 20. The festival will commence on December 9 and conclude on December 30.

हिंदू धार्मिक और धर्मार्थ बंदोबस्ती विभाग ने श्रीरंगम रंगनाथस्वामी मंदिर में वार्षिक वैकुंठ एकादशी उत्सव के लिए पारंपरिक पंथकल नडुतल समारोह के साथ प्रारंभिक तैयारियां शुरू कर दी हैं। हजार स्तंभ मंडप के पास आयोजित यह अनुष्ठान, मंदिर की 22 दिवसीय उत्सव की मेजबानी के लिए तत्परता का प्रतीक है, जिसमें दस दिन की दिन कीCelebrations (पगल पथु) और दस दिन की रात की Celebrations (रा पथु) शामिल हैं। प्रमुख कार्यक्रम, परमपथवासल द्वारों का खुलना, 20 दिसंबर को निर्धारित है। उत्सव 9 दिसंबर को शुरू होगा और 30 दिसंबर को समाप्त होगा।
