UAE May Invest Another $25 Billion In India

UAE investors intend to invest an additional $25 billion in India, adding to the $25 billion already invested. The ultimate goal is to reach $100 billion in UAE investments. Union minister Piyush Goyal stated that the UAE is India's seventh-largest source of foreign direct investment. Discussions also covered expanding cooperation in energy supplies, shipbuilding, space technology, and fintech. The two nations are also exploring increased use of the rupee and dirham for bilateral trade, which is currently in double digits.

यूएई के निवेशक पहले से निवेश किए गए 25 अरब डॉलर के अलावा भारत में अतिरिक्त 25 अरब डॉलर का निवेश करना चाहते हैं। अंतिम लक्ष्य यूएई के निवेश को 100 अरब डॉलर तक पहुंचाना है। केंद्रीय मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने कहा कि यूएई विदेशी प्रत्यक्ष निवेश का भारत का सातवां सबसे बड़ा स्रोत है। ऊर्जा आपूर्ति, जहाज निर्माण, अंतरिक्ष प्रौद्योगिकी और फिनटेक में सहयोग बढ़ाने पर भी चर्चा हुई। दोनों देश द्विपक्षीय व्यापार के लिए रुपये और दिरहम के बढ़ते उपयोग की भी खोज कर रहे हैं, जो वर्तमान में दोहरे अंकों में है।
