Manchester United's annual net loss has surged by nearly a third to 43 million pounds ($57m), despite achieving record revenues of 677.6 million pounds ($897.8m) for the year ending June 30. This marks the club's seventh consecutive annual loss. Cost-cutting measures by co-owner Jim Ratcliffe, coupled with payments to a sacked manager and increased loan repayments, contributed to the deficit. The club also spent 63.5 million pounds on acquiring land for a new stadium.
