EPFO Wage Ceiling Raised To Rs 25,000

The Union Cabinet has approved raising the EPFO wage ceiling from Rs 15,000 to Rs 25,000 per month. This decision is expected to bring over 51 lakh additional employees under mandatory EPFO coverage, expanding social security benefits like provident fund savings and pension schemes. The increase aims to align the ceiling with current wage growth and formal employment expansion.

ईपीएफओ वेतन सीमा ₹25,000 तक बढ़ी

कैबिनेट ने ईपीएफओ की वेज सीलिंग 15,000 रुपये से बढ़ाकर 25,000 रुपये महीना कर दी है। इससे 51 लाख से ज़्यादा कर्मचारी पीएफ और पेंशन जैसी सामाजिक सुरक्षा योजनाओं के दायरे में आ जाएंगे। यह बढ़ोतरी मौजूदा वेतन वृद्धि और औपचारिक रोज़गार के विस्तार के हिसाब से की गई है।
