बेलगावी में 10 सितंबर को जिला विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण ने आत्महत्या रोकथाम पर एक जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया। इसका मकसद युवाओं, माता-पिता और समाज के सदस्यों को आत्महत्या के सामाजिक पहलुओं के बारे में जागरूक करना था। अधिकारियों ने जोर दिया कि आत्महत्या सिर्फ व्यक्तिगत मामला नहीं, बल्कि एक सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य चिंता है, जिसका परिवारों और समाज पर गहरा असर पड़ता है। कार्यक्रम में मानसिक स्वास्थ्य से जुड़े कलंक को दूर करने और मदद को बढ़ावा देने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया गया।
