Fortis Healthcare's Q2 Profit Dips 2.5% Amid Rising Expenses

Fortis Healthcare reported a 2.5 per cent year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit for the September quarter of FY27, reaching ₹320 crore compared to ₹329 crore last year. This decrease was primarily driven by an 18.5 per cent rise in operating expenses and higher tax costs. Despite the profit dip, the hospital chain's revenue from operations grew by 17 per cent to ₹2,735 crore, fueled by strong performances in its hospital and diagnostics businesses.

फोर्टिस हेल्थकेयर ने सितंबर तिमाही (FY27) में पिछले साल के ₹329 करोड़ की तुलना में ₹320 करोड़ का समेकित शुद्ध लाभ दर्ज किया, जो साल-दर-साल 2.5% की गिरावट है। यह गिरावट मुख्य रूप से परिचालन खर्चों में 18.5% की वृद्धि और उच्च कर लागत के कारण हुई। मुनाफे में गिरावट के बावजूद, अस्पताल श्रृंखला का परिचालन राजस्व 17% बढ़कर ₹2,735 करोड़ हो गया, जो इसके अस्पताल और डायग्नोस्टिक्स व्यवसायों के मजबूत प्रदर्शन से प्रेरित था।
