Mizoram Governor Gen. Vijay Kumar Singh has called for a long-term, coordinated plan to strengthen border trade and urged officials to complete necessary groundwork before major connectivity projects begin. He emphasized regulated trade mechanisms to prevent complications and curb illegal activities. The Governor stressed the need for a comprehensive plan integrating all border trade initiatives under a single framework. Discussions also covered institutionalizing Border Haats, regulating unregulated trade, and timely submission of project proposals to concerned authorities.

मिजोरम के राज्यपाल जनरल विजय कुमार सिंह ने सीमा व्यापार को मजबूत करने के लिए एक दीर्घकालिक, समन्वित योजना का आह्वान किया है और अधिकारियों से प्रमुख कनेक्टिविटी परियोजनाओं के शुरू होने से पहले आवश्यक जमीनी तैयारी पूरी करने का आग्रह किया है। उन्होंने जटिलताओं को रोकने और अवैध गतिविधियों पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए विनियमित व्यापार तंत्र पर जोर दिया। राज्यपाल ने एक ही ढांचे के तहत सभी सीमा व्यापार पहलों को एकीकृत करने वाली एक व्यापक योजना की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया। चर्चाओं में बॉर्डर हाट को संस्थागत बनाना, अनियंत्रित व्यापार को विनियमित करना और संबंधित अधिकारियों को समय पर परियोजना प्रस्ताव प्रस्तुत करना भी शामिल था।
