An Air India Express flight from Goa to Bengaluru was forced to abort its initial landing attempt at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) on Saturday evening. The pilot received instructions from Air Traffic Control (ATC) to perform a go-around after a foreign object was detected on the runway. After a few minutes, the pilot successfully executed a safe landing. While the presence of the object was confirmed by sources, neither Air India Express nor the airport operator, Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), has officially commented on the incident.
