CJP Leaders Detained in Delhi Ahead of Jantar Mantar Protest

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) reported the detention of its leaders, including founder Abhijeet Dipke, by Delhi Police upon their arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport. The detentions occurred amidst heightened security in the capital ahead of a planned protest at Jantar Mantar. CJP alleges a crackdown on its supporters and insists its nationwide agitation demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar will continue. The group claims over 1,000 volunteers and activists have been detained across the National Capital Region.

कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) ने दिल्ली पुलिस द्वारा इंदिरा गांधी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर पहुँचते ही उसके संस्थापक अभिजीत दीपके सहित नेताओं को हिरासत में लेने की सूचना दी। राजधानी में जंतर मंतर पर नियोजित विरोध प्रदर्शन से पहले सुरक्षा कड़ी कर दी गई थी। CJP ने अपने समर्थकों पर कार्रवाई का आरोप लगाया है और जोर देकर कहा है कि मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग को लेकर उसका राष्ट्रव्यापी आंदोलन जारी रहेगा। समूह का दावा है कि राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र में 1,000 से अधिक स्वयंसेवकों और कार्यकर्ताओं को हिरासत में लिया गया है।
