Adityanath highlighted the empowerment of police to act against criminals, citing over 2.26 lakh recruitments, a tenfold increase in training capacity, and the establishment of cyber police stations and women's help desks.

उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने पुलिस स्मृति दिवस पर पुलिस कर्मियों को सम्मानित किया और राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा व जन सुरक्षा के लिए उनके बलिदानों को स्वीकार किया। उन्होंने 2017 से पहले के दौर की तुलना वर्तमान समय से की, जिसे उन्होंने 'माफिया राज' बताया, जहाँ मथुरा के जवाहर बाग में नागरिकों की रक्षा करते हुए कानून प्रवर्तन अधिकारियों की मौत हो गई थी। आदित्यनाथ ने अपराधियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करने के लिए पुलिस को सशक्त बनाने पर प्रकाश डाला, जिसमें 2.26 लाख से अधिक की भर्ती, प्रशिक्षण क्षमता में दस गुना वृद्धि और साइबर पुलिस स्टेशनों और महिला सहायता डेस्क की स्थापना का उल्लेख किया गया।
