The Vanguard-class submarines HMS Vanguard, HMS Vigilant, and HMS Vengeance are reportedly involved, with HMS Victorious undergoing maintenance. This deployment follows Defence Secretary Wes Streeting's warning that Britain must be prepared for war. A defence ministry spokesperson stated the nuclear deterrent is the cornerstone of national security, protecting the UK and NATO allies.
