Sun Pharmaceutical Industries has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with LIB Therapeutics Inc. to commercialise and manufacture lerodalcibep globally, excluding the U.S. and China. This deal establishes a new growth avenue for Sun Pharma in the rapidly expanding PCSK9 inhibitor market, which reached $3.7 billion outside the U.S. and China by Q2 2026. Lerodalcibep, already approved in the EU as Lyrokaul and in the U.S. as Lerochol, treats high cholesterol by lowering LDL-C. Sun Pharma will pursue necessary regulatory approvals in licensed territories.
