A university panel has flagged severe issues with basic facilities at the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) in Mumbai. Inspections revealed dirty toilets, a poorly maintained canteen with hygiene concerns, and garbage on the ground floor. Students reported bird nests in toilets and a lack of adequate space for the library. The panel urged the university administration to address these cleanliness and maintenance problems, including repairing toilets and canteen facilities. They also suggested temporarily shifting residents if repairs cause disruption.

यूनिवर्सिटी पैनल ने मुंबई के जमनालाल बजाज इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मैनेजमेंट स्टडीज (JBIMS) में बुनियादी सुविधाओं के साथ गंभीर समस्याओं को उजागर किया है। निरीक्षण में गंदे शौचालय, स्वच्छता संबंधी चिंताओं के साथ खराब रखरखाव वाली कैंटीन और ग्राउंड फ्लोर पर कूड़ा पाया गया। छात्रों ने शौचालयों में पक्षियों के घोंसले और लाइब्रेरी के लिए पर्याप्त जगह न होने की शिकायत की। पैनल ने यूनिवर्सिटी प्रशासन से शौचालयों और कैंटीन सुविधाओं की मरम्मत सहित इन सफाई और रखरखाव की समस्याओं को दूर करने का आग्रह किया। उन्होंने मरम्मत से व्यवधान होने पर निवासियों को अस्थायी रूप से स्थानांतरित करने का भी सुझाव दिया।
