Scotland, Wales, NI Leaders Seek Self-Determination

Leaders of Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland's main nationalist parties have signed a joint agreement declaring their right to self-determination. The SNP's John Swinney, Plaid Cymru's Rhun ap Iorwerth, and Sinn Fein's Michelle O'Neill met in Cardiff, Wales, to assert their nations' autonomy from the UK. They stated that no Westminster government has the right to block democracy or prevent their people from deciding their own future.
