Jamia Millia Islamia has ordered that student union elections must be held within 15 days of the approval of the union's constitution. The university also revoked the suspension and show-cause notices issued to students during the ongoing protest. These decisions were made after considering a demand letter submitted by students who were on a hunger strike. Additionally, a committee will be formed to investigate the conduct of security staff during the protest period.
