Addressing a rally in Delhi, Gandhi alleged that Kumar's actions facilitated alleged irregularities in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and state polls. Gandhi claimed 13.5 crore voters were removed from electoral rolls, representing about 15% of the total electorate. He asserted that without Kumar's alleged complicity, Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Shah would not have been able to form the government.

कांग्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञान‌ेश कुमार पर राजद्रोह का आरोप लगाया है और कहा है कि उन्हें कानूनी कार्रवाई और जेल का सामना करना पड़ेगा। दिल्ली में एक रैली को संबोधित करते हुए गांधी ने आरोप लगाया कि कुमार की कार्रवाइयों ने 2024 के लोकसभा चुनावों और राज्य चुनावों में कथित अनियमितताओं को सुगम बनाया। गांधी ने दावा किया कि 13.5 करोड़ मतदाताओं को मतदाता सूची से हटा दिया गया, जो कुल मतदाताओं का लगभग 15% है। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि कुमार की कथित मिलीभगत के बिना, प्रधानमंत्री मोदी और गृह मंत्री शाह सरकार नहीं बना पाते।
