Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is introducing three new insurance schemes effective October 19, offering customers new options for financial planning. New Jeevan Dhara-II is a deferred annuity plan designed to provide guaranteed income after retirement. Health Shield offers health coverage with a daily hospital cash benefit and payouts for major surgeries or critical illnesses. The third plan, New Cancer Cover, provides financial protection against cancer-related expenses. LIC announced these products on October 13, advising prospective buyers to review detailed policy documents to ensure they meet individual financial needs.
