A UK-based Indian IT professional shared his experience of being laid off after 15 years, attributing the job loss to AI's growing impact on the industry. He noted his company had been gradually reducing staff for three years. While he believes such automation-driven layoffs are less prevalent in India due to lower salaries, he warned that roles in testing and other automatable IT sectors are at risk globally.

एक यूके-आधारित भारतीय आईटी पेशेवर ने 15 साल बाद नौकरी से निकाले जाने का अपना अनुभव साझा किया। उन्होंने कहा कि यह सब AI के बढ़ते प्रभाव के कारण हुआ। उन्होंने बताया कि उनकी कंपनी पिछले तीन साल से धीरे-धीरे लोगों को निकाल रही थी। उनका मानना है कि भारत में कम सैलरी की वजह से ऐसी छंटनी कम है, लेकिन टेस्टिंग और अन्य ऑटोमेटेड आईटी सेक्टर में नौकरियां दुनिया भर में खतरे में हैं।
