Uttar Pradesh will hold elections for 10 Rajya Sabha seats. The BJP has the potential to win 8 of these seats. Seven BJP MPs are completing their terms, with one seat already vacant. Among the retiring MPs are Union Ministers BL Verma and Hardeep Singh Puri, whose re-nomination is likely due to their political standing and community outreach. Other contenders include former DGP Brijlal, and women leaders Seema Dwivedi and Geeta Shakya, with new faces also expected to be considered.

उत्तर प्रदेश में राज्यसभा की 10 सीटों के लिए चुनाव होंगे। बीजेपी के 8 सीटें जीतने की उम्मीद है। सात बीजेपी सांसद अपना कार्यकाल पूरा कर रहे हैं, और एक सीट पहले से खाली है। केंद्रीय मंत्री बीएल वर्मा और हरदीप सिंह पुरी जैसे सांसदों का कार्यकाल खत्म हो रहा है, जिनके दोबारा चुने जाने की संभावना है। पूर्व डीजीपी बृजलाल और महिला नेता सीमा द्विवेदी व गीता शाक्य भी दावेदारों में हैं, साथ ही नए चेहरों पर भी विचार किया जा सकता है।
