Neelu Kumar from Meerut has gained recognition for his unique idol-making skills, transforming his family's traditional craft into a thriving business. He creates hundreds of varieties of idols, including decorative pieces and deities like Lakshmi, Ganesh, and Saraswati, which are in high demand across India. Each idol takes approximately three hours to complete, and all are eco-friendly. This venture provides employment to sixty people, contributing to their livelihoods and promoting self-reliance among youth.

मेरठ के नीलू कुमार अपनी अनोखी मूर्ति बनाने की कला के लिए जाने जाते हैं। उन्होंने अपने परिवार के पारंपरिक काम को एक सफल व्यवसाय में बदल दिया है। वह सैकड़ों तरह की मूर्तियां बनाते हैं, जिनमें सजावटी सामान और लक्ष्मी, गणेश, सरस्वती जैसी देवियां शामिल हैं। इनकी मांग पूरे भारत में बहुत है। हर मूर्ति को बनाने में करीब तीन घंटे लगते हैं और ये सभी पर्यावरण के अनुकूल हैं। इस काम से साठ लोगों को रोजगार मिला है, जिससे उनकी रोजी-रोटी चल रही है और युवाओं में आत्मनिर्भरता को बढ़ावा मिल रहा है।
