BRS Leader Alleges TOMCOM Turned Into 'Tom-Scam', Cheating Unemployed Youth

BRS leader R.S. Praveen Kumar has accused the Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Ltd (TOMCOM) of becoming a "tom-scam," alleging that unemployed youth were deceived. He stated that despite promises of jobs in Germany, many youth paid ₹4.1 lakh each to a third-party agency linked to TOMCOM. After undergoing German language training and clearing exams, only a handful secured employment, and those sent abroad were forced into sundry jobs instead of their promised technical roles. Kumar demanded a criminal case against the agency and the return of collected funds.
