Gurgaon Bans Construction, Demolition Work For 15 Days Amidst Pollution Surge

Gurgaon's administration has mandated a complete halt to all dust-generating construction and demolition activities for 15 days, from November 5 to. This measure, which includes major infrastructure projects, aims to curb rising air pollution levels. The order follows directions from the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) and is part of efforts to reduce dust emissions during the critical winter pollution period. Additionally, government and private offices are directed to limit physical attendance to 50%, with the remainder working from home.
