Kolkata Book Fair Goes Digital for Stall Allocation

The International Kolkata Book Fair committee has introduced a fully digital stall-allocation process for the 50th IKBF in 2027. Publishers from India and abroad can now apply through an online portal, replacing the previous system of physical or emailed applications. This move aims to increase transparency in the stall allotment process. Successful applicants and final allocations will be published on the portal, offering greater convenience to publishers who previously had to submit paper documents manually.

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कोलकाता पुस्तक मेले की समिति ने 2027 में होने वाले 50वें IKBF के लिए पूरी तरह से डिजिटल स्टॉल-आवंटन प्रक्रिया शुरू की है। भारत और विदेश के प्रकाशक अब ऑनलाइन पोर्टल के माध्यम से आवेदन कर सकते हैं, जिससे पहले के भौतिक या ईमेल द्वारा आवेदन की प्रणाली खत्म हो गई है। इस कदम का उद्देश्य स्टॉल आवंटन प्रक्रिया में पारदर्शिता बढ़ाना है। सफल आवेदकों और अंतिम आवंटन को पोर्टल पर प्रकाशित किया जाएगा, जिससे उन प्रकाशकों को अधिक सुविधा मिलेगी जिन्हें पहले मैन्युअल रूप से कागजी दस्तावेज जमा करने पड़ते थे।
