SIT Files Chargesheet in Custodial Death Case

SIT has filed its chargesheet in the alleged custodial death of Gade Sai Krishna. The 25-year-old died at Krishnalanka police station. The chargesheet details Sai Krishna's arrest on May 6, 2026, his alleged illegal detainment and torture, his subsequent death, and the disposal of his body and evidence. Seven accused, including the then Circle Inspector S.S.V.V. Nagaraju, have been arrested in connection with the case so far.

एसआईटी ने गाडे साईं कृष्ण की कथित हिरासत में मौत के मामले में अपनी चार्जशीट दाखिल कर दी है। 25 वर्षीय साईं कृष्ण की मौत कृष्णालंका पुलिस स्टेशन में हुई थी। चार्जशीट में 6 मई 2026 को साईं कृष्ण की गिरफ्तारी, अवैध हिरासत और यातना, और फिर उसके शव व सबूतों को ठिकाने लगाने का विवरण है। इस मामले में अब तक तत्कालीन सर्कल इंस्पेक्टर एस.एस.वी.वी. नागराजू समेत सात लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है।
