Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has assured strict action against individuals involved in a fake job scam within the state Excise Department. A man named Manoj Talekar was detained after presenting a fake appointment letter for Additional Excise Commissioner, having paid ₹27 lakh to an accused named Ajit Shankhwalkar. The fraud was discovered when department staff grew suspicious of the forged letter, which also bore a forged signature of the Chief Minister.

गोवा के मुख्यमंत्री प्रमोद सावंत ने राज्य के आबकारी विभाग में एक नकली नौकरी घोटाले में शामिल लोगों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई का आश्वासन दिया है। अजीत शंखवालकर नामक एक आरोपी को ₹27 लाख का भुगतान करने के बाद अतिरिक्त आबकारी आयुक्त के लिए एक नकली नियुक्ति पत्र प्रस्तुत करने वाले मनोज तलेकर नामक व्यक्ति को हिरासत में लिया गया था। विभाग के कर्मचारियों को मुख्यमंत्री के जाली हस्ताक्षर वाले जाली पत्र पर संदेह होने पर धोखाधड़ी का पता चला।
