Nathalia Gadelha, a 20-year-old aspiring commercial pilot, has been identified as the co-pilot of the Learjet 60 that crashed in Florida on Sunday, killing all nine people on board. Gadelha had earned her private pilot's license at 17, even before obtaining her driver's license. She had spoken publicly about her ambition to pursue a career in commercial aviation. The aircraft was traveling from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas when it crashed in Palm Beach County. The FAA and NTSB are investigating the cause of the crash.
