India Firm to Manage $16 Billion Kenya Refinery

Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote, has selected EIL to manage his $16 billion refinery and petrochemical complex in Kenya. EIL, majority-owned by the Indian government, will oversee engineering, procurement, and construction management for the project, valued at over $450 million. The Lamu-based refinery aims to process 700,000 barrels of crude oil daily, significantly boosting regional fuel production and reducing import dependency.

अफ्रीका के सबसे अमीर आदमी, Aliko Dangote ने केन्या में अपने 16 अरब डॉलर के रिफाइनरी और पेट्रोकेमिकल कॉम्प्लेक्स के प्रबंधन के लिए EIL को चुना है। भारतीय सरकार के स्वामित्व वाली EIL, 450 मिलियन डॉलर से अधिक के इस प्रोजेक्ट के लिए इंजीनियरिंग, खरीद और निर्माण प्रबंधन का काम देखेगी। Lamu स्थित यह रिफाइनरी प्रतिदिन 700,000 बैरल कच्चे तेल को प्रोसेस करने का लक्ष्य रखती है, जिससे क्षेत्रीय ईंधन उत्पादन बढ़ेगा और आयात पर निर्भरता कम होगी।
