West Indies captain Shai Hope stated that team progress should not solely be judged by series victories after the five-match T20I series against India concluded in a 2-2 draw. Rain washed out the final match in Bengaluru, forcing both teams to share the trophy. Hope highlighted the team's significant improvement as a unit over the past two decades, despite not securing a bilateral series win in India. He also commended the bowlers, including Keemo Paul and Shamar Springer, for their crucial contributions throughout the series.
