NIA has arrested two key conspirators in connection with the discovery of ₹17.29 crore in counterfeit Indian currency notes at a PNB currency chest in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The arrested individuals, Ajay Kumar and Harish Raunta, are alleged to be close associates of previously apprehended suspects involved in printing and supplying fake currency. The case began, when fake notes were found at the PNB currency chest, leading to the suspension of three bank employees.

एनआईए ने सहारनपुर, उत्तर प्रदेश में पीएनबी करेंसी चेस्ट में ₹17.29 करोड़ के नकली भारतीय मुद्रा नोटों की बरामदगी के संबंध में दो मुख्य साजिशकर्ताओं को गिरफ्तार किया है। गिरफ्तार किए गए व्यक्ति, अजय कुमार और हरीश राउंता, पर नकली मुद्रा छापने और आपूर्ति करने में शामिल पहले पकड़े गए संदिग्धों के करीबी सहयोगी होने का आरोप है। यह मामला तब शुरू हुआ जब पीएनबी करेंसी चेस्ट में नकली नोट पाए गए, जिससे तीन बैंक कर्मचारियों को निलंबित कर दिया गया।
