Lucknow University Students Turn Festive Decor Skills Into Entrepreneurial Venture

Students from Lucknow University’s College of Fine Arts and Craft are transforming their artistic talents into a small business by creating and selling handmade Diwali decor and gifts. Their collection includes items like hand-painted diyas, macrame hangings, and upcycled decor, offering unique alternatives to mass-produced festive merchandise. The initiative has already generated Rs 6,000 in sales, with students also leveraging social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook to showcase their work and accept orders. This venture provides young artists with an opportunity to earn income and build a customer base.

लखनऊ यूनिवर्सिटी के कॉलेज ऑफ फाइन आर्ट्स एंड क्राफ्ट के छात्र अपनी कला को एक छोटे व्यवसाय में बदल रहे हैं। वे हाथ से बने दिवाली के सजावटी सामान और उपहार बना और बेच रहे हैं। उनके कलेक्शन में हाथ से पेंट किए गए दीये, मैक्रमे हैंगिंग और अपसाइकल्ड डेकोर जैसी चीजें शामिल हैं। यह थोक में बने सामानों का एक अनोखा विकल्प है। इस पहल से अब तक 6,000 रुपये की बिक्री हो चुकी है। छात्र अपने काम को दिखाने और ऑर्डर लेने के लिए Instagram और Facebook जैसे सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म का भी इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं। यह युवा कलाकारों को कमाई करने और ग्राहक बनाने का मौका दे रहा है।
