Alandi Municipal Council will conduct a comprehensive survey of private coaching classes following the death of eight students from the town during a trip. The decision comes after a tragedy where students drowned during an outing organised by a private coaching academy, which has since been sealed. Officials will verify necessary no-objection certificates, examine physical infrastructure, and scrutinise compliance with fire and safety requirements. Action will be taken against institutes found violating norms, with a focus on student safety and preventing obstruction of roads due to parking issues.
