Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar, a US-designated Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist and founding member, died after falling from the fourth floor of Markaz Qudesia in Lahore. Sarwar was reportedly handling the outfit's finance wing and fundraising in Punjab province, operating under the guise of the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League. He was a close associate of Hafiz Saeed and Saifullah Kasuri. The US Justice Department had designated Sarwar a terrorist in 2016, citing his senior leadership roles and involvement in LeT fundraising activities since the early 2000s.
