Rohtas Govt Schools See Stagnant Enrolment For 3 Years

Student enrolment in Rohtas district's government schools has remained largely unchanged for three academic years, hovering around 4.45 lakh. While the overall numbers show little fluctuation, individual classes have experienced significant increases and decreases. For instance, Class I enrolment more than doubled, and Class IX saw a sharp rise. Conversely, enrolment declined in Classes II through V, and also in Classes X and XI. Education officials are reviewing these class-wise variations to understand the underlying reasons for the shifts.

रोहतास जिले के सरकारी स्कूलों में पिछले तीन शैक्षणिक सत्रों से छात्रों का नामांकन लगभग 4.45 लाख के आसपास ही बना हुआ है। हालाँकि कुल संख्या में ज़्यादा उतार-चढ़ाव नहीं दिखा है, लेकिन अलग-अलग कक्षाओं में काफी बढ़ोतरी और कमी देखी गई है। उदाहरण के लिए, कक्षा I में नामांकन दोगुना से ज़्यादा हो गया और कक्षा IX में भारी बढ़ोतरी हुई। इसके विपरीत, कक्षा II से V तक और कक्षा X और XI में नामांकन कम हुआ। शिक्षा अधिकारी इन कक्षा-वार बदलावों की समीक्षा कर रहे हैं ताकि इन बदलावों के पीछे के कारणों को समझा जा सके।
