भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक (RBI) ने 6 अगस्त तक टाटा संस को अपर लेयर NBFC की सूची में बनाए रखा है। इसका मतलब है कि RBI ने अभी तक टाटा संस के NBFC-UL ढांचे से बाहर निकलने के अनुरोध को मंज़ूरी नहीं दी है। एक NBFC-CIC के तौर पर डी-रजिस्ट्रेशन के लिए कंपनी के आवेदन की जाँच अभी भी केंद्रीय बैंक कर रहा है।
