Neha Bora, Dipankar Bhattacharya, Yogendra Yadav, Prashant Bhushan Detained in Delhi

All India Students’ Association president Neha Bora and other leaders were detained by Delhi Police near Safdarjung Airport flyover while en route to a protest at Dilli Haat. CPI(M-L)-Liberation general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, political commentator Yogendra Yadav, and advocate Prashant Bhushan were also detained. Ms. Bora stated that despite detentions and restrictions, the movement would continue, comparing Dilli Haat to Jantar Mantar. Delhi Police had erected barricades to prevent protesters from reaching the venue, though some proceeded on foot.

ऑल इंडिया स्टूडेंट्स’ एसोसिएशन की अध्यक्ष नेहा बोरा और अन्य नेताओं को दिल्ली पुलिस ने सफदरजंग एयरपोर्ट फ्लाईओवर के पास दिल्ली हाट में विरोध प्रदर्शन के लिए जाते समय हिरासत में लिया। सीपीआई (एम-एल)-लिबरेशन के महासचिव दीपांकर भट्टाचार्य, राजनीतिक टिप्पणीकार योगेंद्र यादव और वकील प्रशांत भूषण को भी हिरासत में लिया गया। सुश्री बोरा ने कहा कि हिरासत और प्रतिबंधों के बावजूद, आंदोलन जारी रहेगा, उन्होंने दिल्ली हाट की तुलना जंतर मंतर से की। दिल्ली पुलिस ने प्रदर्शनकारियों को स्थल तक पहुँचने से रोकने के लिए बैरिकेड्स लगा दिए थे, हालांकि कुछ लोग पैदल ही आगे बढ़े।
