Hockey India Sacks DG RK Srivastava Over Jersey

Hockey India has divested Director General RK Srivastava of all authority and issued him a show cause notice for alleged disobedience and non-compliance with presidential directives. The immediate trigger was his travel to the World Cup against explicit instructions from HI president Dilip Tirkey. The notice also cites an arbitrary decision to change the national team's jersey before the World Cup without consultation, and other charges of dereliction of duty.

हॉकी इंडिया ने अपने डायरेक्टर जनरल आरके श्रीवास्तव से सारे अधिकार छीन लिए हैं और उन्हें कारण बताओ नोटिस जारी किया है। उन पर प्रेसिडेंट के आदेश न मानने और अवज्ञा के आरोप हैं। दरअसल, हॉकी इंडिया के प्रेसिडेंट दिलीप तिर्की के मना करने के बावजूद वे वर्ल्ड कप चले गए थे। नोटिस में वर्ल्ड कप से पहले टीम की जर्सी बदलने और ड्यूटी में लापरवाही के भी आरोप हैं।
