केरल सास्त्र साहित्य परिषद (केएसएसपी) ने सरकार के 16-सदस्यीय स्वास्थ्य कार्यबल के पुनर्गठन की मांग की है। केएसएसपी का तर्क है कि वर्तमान पैनल में सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र के सीधे अनुभव वाले या केरल के स्वास्थ्य मुद्दों पर महत्वपूर्ण शोध वाले सदस्य नहीं हैं। उन्होंने इस बात पर चिंता व्यक्त की कि सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य प्रणालियों पर संदेह पैदा करने वाली टिप्पणियां कार्यबल की संरचना के बारे में चिंताओं को बढ़ा सकती हैं। केएसएसपी का मानना है कि यह समिति, जिसमें बड़े पैमाने पर कॉर्पोरेट अस्पतालों और निजी प्रयोगशालाओं के प्रमुख शामिल हैं, सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य की जरूरतों पर व्यावसायिक हितों को प्राथमिकता देने का जोखिम उठाती है।
