Delhi Police Detain 1,000 Protesters, Two Officers Injured

At least two Delhi Police personnel were injured on Saturday as authorities detained approximately 1,000 protesters across the national capital. The demonstrators attempted to march towards Jantar Mantar to protest against the Chief Election Commissioner and alleged irregularities in electoral roll revisions. Extensive security measures were in place, including the deployment of thousands of police and paramilitary personnel, to prevent protesters from reaching the designated demonstration site after permission was denied. Drones were also utilized to monitor movement and maintain law and order.
