69-Year-Old Patient Undergoes Complex Angioplasty

A 69-year-old patient with acute coronary syndrome and kidney dysfunction has successfully undergone a complex angioplasty using advanced rotablation technology at a Vadodara hospital. The patient presented with chest pain and severe calcification in a major heart artery. Due to pre-existing kidney issues, bypass surgery was risky, leading doctors to opt for rotablation-assisted angioplasty. This procedure used a high-speed rotating burr to clear the calcified blockage, enabling stent placement and restoring blood flow. Measures were also taken to minimise contrast exposure, crucial for patients with renal dysfunction.

वडोदरा के एक अस्पताल में 69 वर्षीय मरीज, जिसे एक्यूट कोरोनरी सिंड्रोम और किडनी की समस्या थी, ने एडवांस्ड रोटाब्लेशन टेक्नोलॉजी का इस्तेमाल करके एक जटिल एंजियोप्लास्टी सफलतापूर्वक करवाई। मरीज को सीने में दर्द और दिल की एक प्रमुख धमनी में गंभीर कैल्सीफिकेशन की शिकायत थी। पहले से मौजूद किडनी की समस्याओं के कारण, बाईपास सर्जरी जोखिम भरी थी, इसलिए डॉक्टरों ने रोटाब्लेशन-सहायता प्राप्त एंजियोप्लास्टी का विकल्प चुना। इस प्रक्रिया में कैल्सीफाइड रुकावट को दूर करने के लिए एक हाई-स्पीड रोटेटिंग बर्र का इस्तेमाल किया गया, जिससे स्टेंट लगाया जा सका और रक्त प्रवाह बहाल हुआ। किडनी की समस्या वाले मरीजों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण कंट्रास्ट एक्सपोजर को कम करने के उपाय भी किए गए।
