Key demands include the release of pending dearness allowance, restoration of the Old Pension Scheme, and regularization of contractual staff. The federation also plans a protest outside Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema's residence on October 28. PSEB Employees Federation से जुड़े पंजाब के बिजली कर्मचारी राज्य सरकार द्वारा अपने वादे पूरे न करने के विरोध में 21 और 22 अक्टूबर को दो दिन का सामूहिक अवकाश रखेंगे। मुख्य मांगों में लंबित महंगाई भत्ते का भुगतान, पुरानी पेंशन योजना की बहाली और संविदा कर्मचारियों का नियमितीकरण शामिल है। फेडरेशन 28 अक्टूबर को वित्त मंत्री हरपाल सिंह चीमा के आवास के बाहर विरोध प्रदर्शन की भी योजना बना रहा है। कर्मचारियों को सरकार की अनपेक्षित प्रतिबद्धताओं के कारण कार्रवाई करने के लिए मजबूर होना पड़ रहा है, जिससे जनता को असुविधा हो सकती है।
