Three College Students Held, Minor Detained After Second Bank Robbery Attempt

Three college students, including the alleged mastermind, have been arrested, and a 17-year-old accomplice detained, after they attempted a second robbery at an Odisha Grameen Bank branch. The 21-year-old mastermind had successfully robbed Rs 2.82 lakh from the same bank two months prior. He allegedly planned the first robbery due to financial difficulties from a camera purchase. Police apprehended the accused near the bank after the branch manager alerted them, seizing a firearm and other items. Investigations are ongoing to recover the stolen money and trace the firearm's origin.
