Punjab's final electoral rolls now list 2.01 crore eligible voters after a special intensive revision exercise. This figure reflects the removal of 13.6 lakh duplicate and dead entries, reducing the total count by 6.3% from the initial 2.14 crore. The clean-up process, which began in June, involved adding 7,97,263 new voters while deleting over 20 lakh ineligible ones. Names were removed for reasons including death, permanent relocation, or multiple registrations. Eligible citizens not yet enrolled are encouraged to apply via Form 6.

पंजाब की अंतिम मतदाता सूची में अब विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण अभ्यास के बाद 2.01 करोड़ योग्य मतदाता सूचीबद्ध हैं। यह आंकड़ा 13.6 लाख डुप्लीकेट और मृत प्रविष्टियों को हटाने को दर्शाता है, जिससे प्रारंभिक 2.14 करोड़ से कुल संख्या में 6.3% की कमी आई है। जून में शुरू हुई इस सफाई प्रक्रिया में 7,97,263 नए मतदाताओं को जोड़ा गया, जबकि 20 लाख से अधिक अयोग्य मतदाताओं को हटा दिया गया। मृत्यु, स्थायी स्थानांतरण या कई पंजीकरणों जैसे कारणों से नाम हटाए गए। अभी तक नामांकित नहीं हुए योग्य नागरिकों को फॉर्म 6 के माध्यम से आवेदन करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जाता है।
