HC Questions Multiple PILs Filed In Society's Name

The High Court on Monday questioned the filing of multiple Public Interest Litigations (PILs) by different individuals under the same society's name. The bench sought details of the SPCPER registration and bylaws. The court raised concerns after four PILs on different subjects, filed by distinct persons using the society's name, were presented. The petitioner's counsel stated the society has been functioning since 2018 and individuals filing petitions are district in-charges duly authorized.

हाई कोर्ट ने सोमवार को एक ही संस्था के नाम पर अलग-अलग लोगों द्वारा कई जनहित याचिकाओं (PILs) के दायर होने पर सवाल उठाए। बेंच ने SPCPER पंजीकरण और उपनियमों का विवरण मांगा। अदालत ने चार अलग-अलग विषयों पर, अलग-अलग व्यक्तियों द्वारा संस्था के नाम का उपयोग करके दायर की गई PILs के पेश होने के बाद चिंता जताई। याचिकाकर्ता के वकील ने कहा कि संस्था 2018 से काम कर रही है और याचिका दायर करने वाले व्यक्ति जिला प्रभारी हैं जिन्हें विधिवत अधिकृत किया गया है।
