Namma Metro successfully facilitated the rapid transport of a human kidney from Kolar's Jalappa Hospital to Bengaluru's Fortis Hospital on Friday, October 30. The organ travelled between Benniganahalli and Attiguppe stations, completing the metro journey in just 37 minutes. Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) coordinated with healthcare institutions to ensure timely delivery, recognizing the critical nature of organ transportation. This marks the seventh organ transfer facilitated by Namma Metro, which has previously aided in transporting one liver, four hearts, and a pair of lungs.
