Election Commission Rolls Back SIR Declaration in Form 6 for Completed Revision States

The Election Commission has withdrawn the additional Special Intensive Revision (SIR) declaration from Form 6 in states where the electoral roll revision exercise has concluded. This means applicants in these states will now only need to complete the regular statutory Form 6 for voter enrollment. The declaration, however, remains available in states and Union territories where the roll revision is still ongoing.

चुनाव आयोग ने उन राज्यों में फॉर्म 6 से अतिरिक्त स्पेशल इंटेंसिव रिवीजन (SIR) घोषणा वापस ले ली है जहाँ मतदाता सूची संशोधन का काम पूरा हो गया है। इसका मतलब है कि इन राज्यों में आवेदक को मतदाता नामांकन के लिए केवल नियमित वैधानिक फॉर्म 6 भरना होगा। हालाँकि, जिन राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में सूची संशोधन अभी भी चल रहा है, वहाँ यह घोषणा उपलब्ध रहेगी।
