The BJP on Sunday dismissed Rahul Gandhi's allegations that the Centre was attacking Tamil language, history, and culture. BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi cited Prime Minister Modi's initiatives, including highlighting Tamil culture at the UN General Assembly and placing the sacred Sengol in the new Parliament building. He also mentioned the return of Chola copper plates and the establishment of a Subramania Bharati Chair as efforts to promote Tamil heritage. Trivedi accused Gandhi of fostering divisiveness while the BJP aims for cultural unity through programs like Kashi Tamil Sangamam.
