He highlighted that India is preparing for these challenges by planning in three stages for short, mid, and long-term goals. Vaishnaw emphasized that materials are a major weak spot in building India's technological self-sufficiency, particularly in semiconductor production. India aims to become a trusted partner in global supply chains, leveraging its strengths in chip design and manufacturing.

केंद्रीय मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस और वित्तीय अस्थिरता से संभावित व्यवधानों का हवाला देते हुए, आगे एक बहुत कठिन वैश्विक आर्थिक दौर की चेतावनी दी है। उन्होंने बताया कि भारत अल्पकालिक, मध्यकालिक और दीर्घकालिक लक्ष्यों के लिए तीन चरणों में योजना बनाकर इन चुनौतियों के लिए तैयार हो रहा है। वैष्णव ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि भारत की तकनीकी आत्मनिर्भरता के निर्माण में, विशेष रूप से सेमीकंडक्टर उत्पादन में, सामग्री एक बड़ी कमजोरी है। भारत का लक्ष्य चिप डिजाइन और निर्माण में अपनी ताकत का लाभ उठाकर वैश्विक आपूर्ति श्रृंखलाओं में एक विश्वसनीय भागीदार बनना है।
