Lekhpal Caught Red-Handed Accepting Rs 15,000 Bribe in Lalitpur

A revenue lekhpal, Vipul Kumar Tiwari, was apprehended by the Anti-Corruption Organisation (ACO) in Lalitpur for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000. The complainant, Manoj Kumar, had accused Tiwari of demanding Rs 20,000 to maintain the status quo on his land. Tiwari was caught receiving the initial installment of Rs 15,000 at his rented accommodation. He attempted to destroy the bribe money by burning it, but the ACO team forced entry and initiated legal proceedings.

ललितपुर में भ्रष्टाचार निवारण संगठन (ACO) ने एक राजस्व लेखपाल, विपुल कुमार तिवारी को 15,000 रुपये की रिश्वत लेते हुए पकड़ा। शिकायतकर्ता मनोज कुमार ने आरोप लगाया था कि तिवारी ने उनकी जमीन पर यथास्थिति बनाए रखने के लिए 20,000 रुपये की मांग की थी। तिवारी को उनके किराए के आवास पर 15,000 रुपये की पहली किस्त लेते हुए पकड़ा गया। उन्होंने रिश्वत की रकम को जलाकर नष्ट करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन ACO टीम ने जबरन प्रवेश कर कानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी।
