Two More Held in Big Meth Bust Near Nagapattinam; Four Now in Custody

Two additional suspects have been apprehended in connection with the seizure of 137 kg of methamphetamine near Nagapattinam, bringing the total number of individuals in custody to four. The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence had initially detained two suspects after recovering the drugs, valued at over ₹100 crore. Searches at the residence of an advocate and TVK functionary, N Boopalan, and his associates led to the discovery. The operation is considered one of the largest drug seizures in Tamil Nadu recently.
